Last Saturday, The Smart Car Project in Shanghai’s Jiading district launched its first small-scale road test without outside intervention. A convoy of 10 minibuses and medium-sized buses slowly entered the test section, maintaining a speed of 60 km/h and successfully passing through multiple intersections. The test was designed to capture vehicle driving data on general roads and how well it matches the traffic lights. Provide data support for further testing of coordinated matching of people, cars, and roads, as well as the creation of point-to-point call system scenarios.
